Family Odds and Ends.

I hope all of you who have received my book are enjoying it. I’m still waiting for my author copies. And while I wait, life goes on around me.

My youngest daughter came up with a new saying that got me laughing so I thought I’d share it. As a mom I’ve learned in certain instances (like when my oldest daughter wanted to get a tattoo at age 15)  it’s easier to say…”I’ll think about it,” than it is to flat out say, “No.” My son used to counter, “You’ll think about it always means no.” Not ALWAYS. But a good percentage of the time. My youngest daughter has started to say, “Good. You think about it until the answer is yes.” I’ve gotta stay sharp with that one.

My son (17) went on his first college visit today. I tried to convince him to apply to universities in Florida so I can have an excuse to spend the winter months down south. He threatened to apply to The University of Alaska.

My oldest daughter was a model for one of her classmates at a comic book convention where her school had a booth. If I do this right her pictures should be below.

That’s what’s up with my family. Anything new with yours?
