These Made My Day!

I have to share this e-mail I received this morning (with the sender’s approval) because it made my day. And not only because she loved Craving Her Soldier’s Touch and Secrets of a Shy Socialite. The e-mail really made my day because to know that I have in any way helped to inspire someone to write is the greatest compliment ever!

Huge, huge thanks for the copy of Craving Her Soldier’s Touch & Secrets of a Shy Socialite. Although I was going to wait to read them I really couldn’t! I loved both of them to the point that I had to change my pillowcase because of leaky eyes – for both stories!

I got my copy on a day when I received my first R for my first sub so it cheered me up and inspired me to keep trying. I adore your writing, it’s always so daring and honest. You obviously write exactly what you want to write and the humour, sensuality and emotion always shines through. Hope you have a very successful 2013.

I love all of the books by Wendy S.Marcus, but Craving Her Soldier’s Touch/Secrets of a Shy Socialite is my favourite so far. Both sensual stories have the usual lip lifting humour, but also an emotional depth that breaks your heart and causes serious eye leakage.In Craving Her Soldier’s Touch the story begins with rich girl Jaci Piermont saying a very intimate goodbye to her friend, sexy soldier Ian Eddleton. When injured Ian returns he finds himself in the role as protector to feisty community nurse Jaci. But how can he protect Jaci when she only has to mention marriage to make him run? Jaci tries to heal his scars both inside and out, but can Ian help her with the scars she has hidden so deep?

In Secret’s of a Shy Socialite we meet Jena, Jaci’s identical twin. So identical that Justin can’t tell their looks apart. All he knows is that Jaci is the one with the great personality and Jena he really doesn’t like. So it comes as a great surprise when he discovers he is the father of Jena’s twins and he didn’t have a night of passion with Jaci after all.

Jena never liked being the ‘good’ twin, so the only way Jena can be more like her sister is to pretend to be her. Now she is a mother Jena has to do whatever she can for her own little girls, but with the life altering decision she has to make she has no choice but to make plans of her own. As Justin gets to know his daughters he is surprised to discover the strength hidden inside Jena.

In this story Wendy S. Marcus bravely tackles the subject of cancer with sensitivity. Grab a tissue and read!
