What do Teenagers Have Against Winter Coats?

For those of you who don’t know, in addition to writing for Harlequin Medical Romance, I am working on a collaboration about motherhood with three¬†of my¬†romance writer friends. We’ve started a blog and I just did my first post titled: What do Teenagers Have Against Winter Coats? If you have a minute, stop by and tell me what you think. LOL I didn’t know teenagers had anything against winter coats which just goes to show how in touch with teenagers I am.

It sounds trendy, like wearing pajama bottoms to school, although a bit more dangerous in the sub-zero temps we’ve been having.

Perhaps it’s a darwinian experiment of survival of the fittest or the dim whitted. (not your kids of course). Or SDD (Seasonal Denial Disorder)!

Are hats and gloves still acceptable?

Oh, I see, no hats and gloves either!! Sounds like the entire school is in collusion to make their parents worry over yet one more thing.

Right you are, Dale! My children live to make me worry! Hope you’re staying warm (with or without a coat)!

Hey, it’s not only kids. My computer repairman walked in the other day in shirt sleeves. He insisted 35 wasn’t cold.

Welcome back to the Internet, Janet!!

A week or so ago, on a bitter cold day, I saw a man out walking with no jacket and short sleeves. Absolutely NUTS! But to each his own.
